I do apologize. It is not fair to post tasting notes on whiskies that are near impossible to try. But on the other hand, I feel it is my duty, in a sense, to share my experience of these old and very often magical bottlings.

This whisky was distilled on 1989-11-02, and bottled on 2003-06-16. It is part of the Single Cask Warehouse #29 bottling series.

Nose: Honey-baked apple dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon. A gentle alcohol nibble adds energy without disrupting the balance. With time, soft oak, creamy vanilla and warming Christmas spices emerge.

Taste: Potent and powerful. Intensely concentrated and flavourful, echoing the nose with sticky honey sweetness, orchard fruits and exotic spices. Fruity hard candy adds brightness to an otherwise dry-leaning profile.

Finish: Long. Dark chocolate and cacao nibs take center stage, supported by refined oak. Eucalyptus and gentle green herbs appear on the final stretch.

Comment: Monumental intensity, flawlessly balanced.
