This is an old core range product from before Elixir Distillers took over the distillery in 2022. The Tormore 16 YO was matured in American oak casks. That’s all I know.

Nose: Quite sweet. Caramel and vanilla, followed by topical fruits - honey dew melon and mango. With time a hint of nuts.

Taste: Medium body. Certainly delivers the sweetness promised by the nose. Light and fruity sweetness, with added chocolate and coffee bringing darker shades.

Finish: Medium long finish. Cocoa nibs and coffee grains dominate now. Creamy vanilla and white pepper in the background.

Comment: Perfectly fine.
