This is an independent bottling from A.D. Rattray. The Teaninich 2007 12 YO Cask #459 was distilled 2007-02-28, matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead (cask #459), and bottled 2019-03-15. The hogshead yielded 258 bottles

The Teaninich 2007 12 YO Cask #459 sold in Norway for NOK 1030 up until recently (11049801). Apologies, sometimes I do not manage to get the reviews out before a whisky sells out.

Nose: Lots of malt and barley notes here. Rich and aromatic. Vanilla and orchard fruits. With time it strikes a perfect balance between laid back sweetness and summer time fruitiness. Just relax!

Taste: Body filled to the max. Big! White pepper, lemon flavored oak and the green, green grass of home.

Finish: Medium long finish. More vanilla and caramel in the mix now. Creamy and rich 'till the very last breath.

Comment: Big, bold and beautiful.
