The Smokehead High Voltage is available in Norway at NOK 1270 (10652201).

Nose: Smoky, peaty and green, with wood smoke and a clear maritime touch. Earthy peat gives it depth, while malt and menthol build with time, increasing in volume and adding a cool, rich edge.

Taste: Full bodied and rather dry in character. Spicy and bold, with black pepper, white pepper, nutmeg and dusty cinnamon. The peat and smoke remain firm, giving the palate plenty of grip.

Finish: Medium long finish. Dry, relentlessly spicy, smoky and peaty. Malt and menthol continue, with a hint of citrus and liquorice appearing towards the end.

Comment: Dry smoke with definite bite.
