This old Redbreast expression from Midleton Distillery has been matured in a combination of four types of casks; ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry, ex-cream sherry and ex-port wine casks. This is of course a single pot still whiskey from Ireland.

The Redbreast 18 YO Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey will be available in Norway on November 13 at NOK 1449 (17480601).

Nose: Super fruity and inviting with layers of caramel, butterscotch and creamy vanilla. Bright and indulgent from the start.

Taste: Full bodied, creamy and rich. Bursting with both dried and ripe orchard fruits, wrapped in a smooth sweetness.

Finish: Long and delicate. Caramel deepens, joined by soft almond pudding for a rounded and satisfying close.

Comment: Lush fruit with creamy sweetness.
