Independent bottler Adelphi brings us this gem of an Arran (Lochranza Distillery). Distilled 2015, matured in a single refill ex-Oloroso sherry cask (cask #1468), and bottled 2025. Limited to 318 bottles.

The Lochranza (Arran) 2014 (Adelphi) will be available in Norway starting November 13 at NOK 1540 (20043601).

Nose: Super light and airy with caramel and gentle orchard fruits. Marshmallows appear with time, giving the nose a delicate, fluffy sweetness.

Taste: Full bodied, creamy and deeply rich. Dried fruits, leather and cigar box notes create elegant depth beneath the sweetness.

Finish: Long and indulgent. Sugary caramel and creamy richness linger with layers of leather, dried fruits and an abundance of orchard fruit.

Comment: Rich elegance.
