Kinglake Full Noise Cask Strength Single Malt

Kinglake Full Noise Cask Strength Single Malt, 3 YO, 60 %

OK, one more expression from Australian distillery Kinglake. This is how they present their Kinglake Full Noise Cask Strength Single Malt:

“After the customer feedback from our cask strength special release ‘Full Noise’ we have decided to make it part of our core range. The same distinctive spirit and ex-bourbon finish sweetness of our OG whisky, Full Noise is bottled straight from what we feel are ‘stand-out’ barrels. Ex-bourbon barrel”

This whisky sells for AUS 110 (50 cl) in Australia. Seems like a bargain to me.

Nose: Creamy vanilla and notes of tropical fruits. Rich maltiness. White chocolate and milk chocolate. With time it morphs into notes of chocolate mousse and almond milk. Toasted oak and pepper in the background.

Taste: Full bodied and creamy. Wow, this is so rich. Vanilla ice cream, custard, and marshmallows over a bonfire.

Finish: Medium long finish. More of the same really. Then a wave of tropical fruits and grape juice, topped with a spritz of wood smoke and toasted oak.

Comment: Whoa! What a Duesey!
