This Danish single malt whisky from Nyborg Destilleri is exclusively matured in 1st fill Danish oak.

Nose: Honey, creamy vanilla and almond paste. With time more nuts - unsalted peanuts, as well as pencil shavings and toasted marshmallows.

Taste: Medium body. Dry and rather nutty in character. Ginger and white pepper join in the fun. Dark chocolate and hints of coffee beans.

Finish: Medium long finish. The mix of assorted nuts is ever present. Now also honey coated nuts. A deep fruitiness in the background. Then a hit of peanut butter right at the finish line.

Comment: I kinda like this nutty whisky.
