This young Hazelburn from Springbank Distillery was distilled February 2017, matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks and bottled March 2025. Limited to 10.500 bottles.

The Hazelburn 2017 8 YO Oloroso Cask Matured will be available in Norway from November 13 at NOK 1299 (20042101).

Nose: Light and delicate with gentle swirls of caramel and vanilla. Soft and airy, like drifting through sweet, fluffy clouds. With time also leather and earthier notes.

Taste: Full bodied and expressive. Red berries and dried fruits dominate, accented by a subtle hint of floral perfume.

Finish: Medium to long. Deeply fruity and sweet with exotic spices. Tropical fruits as well and soft oakiness. A final touch of chocolate mint.

Comment: Elegant fruit with a sweet glow.
