The 2025 edition of the Kilkerran 16 YO, from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, has the following cask mix; 60% ex-bourbon casks, 40% ex-sherry casks.

The Kilkerran 16 YO (2025) will be available in Norway from November 13 at NOK 1259 (20041401).

Nose: Light and dry with malty fruitiness at first. Gradually deepens into darker tones of tobacco leaves, cigar box and a whiff of wood smoke or toasted oak.

Taste: Full bodied and slightly brooding. Fruity caramel sweetness meets soft spice, a touch of burnt caramel and dark chocolate richness.

Finish: Medium to long. Dark chocolate lingers, ending on a faintly green, earthy note.

Comment: Dark sweetness with refined depth.
