This is a distillery exclusive bottling. Limited to 2000 bottles. Matured in a combination of ex-Oloroso and ex-PX sherry-seasoned casks. See the official product page for more info. It was available at GBP 150 but is now sold out.

Nose: Sweet and softly spiced wood smoke is the first thing to catch my attention. Dried fruits, mainly prunes and raisins, form the second wave. Then more sweetness arrives in the guise of honey cake and plain vanilla muffins straight from the oven.

Taste: Full bodied. The smoke is more pronounced on the palate. Licorice, chocolate and light caramel build out the sweetness and richness.

Finish: Medium long. Somewhat drier in character now. The sweetness of the dried fruits remains, joined by dark chocolate, licorice and black pepper. Oaky spices, soot and “dirty” sugar cubes emerge towards the end.

Comment: Sweet smoke with a dirty edge.
