Daftmill 2010 Summer Release, 10 YO, 46%

Distilled in July 2010, matured in 25 1st fill ex-bourbon barrels, and bottled 2021. Limited to 6250 bottles.

Nose: Clean and fresh with ripe apples and bright citrus. A pleasant dustiness adds character, while gentle vanilla and toasted oak emerge over time.

Taste: Full bodied, creamy and rich yet leaning dry. Green, herbal notes dominate initially, with restrained fruit and a subtle bitter edge.

Finish: Medium long. Softens with a touch of sweetness, though the green, minty and lightly oaky tones linger gracefully.

Comment: Fresh, herbal and quietly complex.
