One of two single cask Chichibu releases exclusive to Norway and Sweden. Matured in a refill ex-sherry hogshead (cask #6960), and limited to 266 bottles.

Nose: Lovely, soft and complex notes of dried fruits and nuts. Fluffy aromatic clouds of goodness. Fudge, homemade caramel pudding, whipped cream and runny honey. With time also hints of dark chocolate and coffee - no, wait; a sweet and extra creamy Espresso Martini.

Taste: Full bodied and rich beyond measure. Notes of caramel, coffee, dates and figs all mix into a complex dance of flavors. Add to this creamy vanilla and the barest hint of toasted oak.

Finish: Long finish. It keeps developing, but it is always centered around notes of caramel, honey and coffee / dark chocolate. As it finally dies away there’s salty caramel flavored popcorn served with freshly cracked peanut shells.

Comment: A truly dreamy dram!
