Nose: Smoky with a dash of citrus,. Briny and maritime in character. Borderline sour, sour oaky notes? With time an element of green as well, herbal notes in the back.

Taste: Medium body. Softer and sweeter on the palate than the nose promised. A fair bit of peppery peat though, ashes and soot. Salt and toffee. Orchard fruits as a base.

Finish: Medium long finish. Toasted oak, and beyond that not much in the way of further development.

Comment: Peaty, salty, fruity. Works for me.
