Initially matured for six years in ex-bourbon barrels, then received a second maturation for a further six years in 1st fill ex-Ribera del Duero red wine casks. Limited to 15049 bottles.

Nose: A very fruity nose. We have an assortment of dried fruits as well as fresh apples, and even some citrus notes. It comes across as both earthy and fresh at the same time. After a while I also pick up some spiciness in the form of cinnamon and white papper.

Taste: Full bodied, and again quite fruity. Red fruits, red berries, dried fruits. Blackcurrant juice, ginger and hints of leather.

Finish: Medium to long finish. More rich fruitiness. Vegetal notes in the background as well.

Comment: A complex dram.
