The Adelphi´s Islay Caol Ila will be available shortly in Norway at NOK 814 (20395401).

Nose: Very maritime and medicinal on the first sniff, with clear peat smoke. Subtle green notes linger in the background, while a gentle fruitiness emerges with time.

Taste: Medium bodied and still firmly peaty and smoky. Gently salted peanuts, almond paste and cinnamon mingle with fresh cut grass.

Finish: Medium long. The peat fades relatively quickly, leaving orchard fruits and grassy freshness behind.

Comment: Maritime peat with green freshness.
