This is a limited edition blended Scotch from Turntable Spirits, with the following composition:

  • 37% Ardnamurchan - peated, sherry butt

  • 18% Raasay - peated, Chinquapin barrel

  • 16% Lochlea, 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel

  • 15% Nc'nean, 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel

  • 14% Port Dundas, refill ex-bourbon barrel

Nose: Deep wood smoke dominates, softly maritime in feel. Sweet fruitiness lurks beneath the peat veil, opening up to dried fruits, barbecued meat and distant marshmallows with time.

Taste: Full bodied with a sweet yet peaty impact. Licorice rolled in ashes, peppery and dryish, with a savoury note reminiscent of dried barbecue sauce.

Finish: Medium long. Initially echoing the dry, smoky peat, then loosening into sugary, fruity sweetness. More smoky than peaty toward the end.

Comment: Smoky sweetness with big contrast.
