Time for more Irish whiskey, right? So here a product from one of the major Irish whiskey brands; the Tullamore Dew Collector's Edition.

This whiskey is, and I quote, “triple distilled, triple wood matured, triple blend of all three types of irish whiskey”. So, made using both grain whiskey, single malt and pot-still whiskey, and matured in what they call whiskey, bourbon and sherry casks.

Nose: I am met with malt, apples and vanilla. With time white pepper, caramel sauce and hints of citrus. 

Taste: Nice and full bodied. More spicy on the palate, but not really a spicy dram - if you know what I mean. Ginger and a slight fizzy feel to it. Apples again. 

Finish: Medium long finish. Very soft and easy on the palate this one. More caramel and vanilla, as well as a slight green touch towards the end.

Comment: Easy sipping whiskey.
