This is the first core range product from The Lakes Distillery, or as they say “our first permanent style of sherry-led single malt whisky”.

Matured in the finest European and American oak Oloroso and PX sherry casks, this indulgent whisky is a distinguished, multi-layered single malt with a distinctive, lingering finish.”

Nose: A sophisticated nose reveals a complexity that suggests an age surpassing its actual maturation period. Notes of dried fruits, leather, vanilla, and sun-warmed, toasted oak emerge beautifully.

Taste: Medium to full body, complemented by a medium sweetness. It features a tight and clean structure, showcasing notes of dried fruits and mellow citrus. The profile is further enhanced by warm spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, along with an earthy hint of vanilla. Additionally, red berries and indulgent chocolate delicacies add to its complexity.

Finish: The finish is medium to long, offering a fresher and more exciting experience, with a hint of dryness complemented by peppery notes. A delightful array of dried fruits creates a veritable symphony of flavors. The top notes present a crispness, while the bass notes resonate with depth. As we conclude, the palate is treated to a rich hot chocolate accented by a dollop of caramel and floral honey.
