Teerenpeli 15 YO

Teerenpeli 15 YO, 54.9 %

Made using Finnish malted barley and matured in a combination of 65 % ex-bourbon and 35% ex-sherry casks. See the official product page for more details.

The Teerenpeli 15 YO is available to buy in Finland at € 105.

Nose: Soft, fruity and fresh with orchard and dried fruits in harmonious balance. The alcohol is well integrated. Gentle malt, caramel and vanilla are joined by toasted oak, marshmallows and a faint whiff of citrus as it develops.

Taste: Full-bodied and rich with creamy caramel, white pepper, and a gentle astringency. Dried fruits arrive after the initial wave, lifted by bright citrus. Less sweet than the nose suggests, with malty richness and an almost-fizzy mouthfeel.

Finish: Medium to long. Darker and more demanding, with caramel, dark chocolate, pepper and a warming intensity. Toasted oak becomes more pronounced, though it remains well-behaved throughout.

Comment: Deeply rewarding.
