Nose: Warm and cosy. This is the whisky equivalent of a winter cabin fireplace. Honey, dried fruits, cinnamon, and a mild oakiness. With time orange marmalade. With further time even more icing sugar.

Taste: Very rich and creamy. Caramel sauce, vanilla, strawberries, rowanberries and dried fruits. Spicy with lots of white and black pepper, as well as raw ginger and earthy cinnamon.

Finish: Medium long finish. Still fruity and sweet. The notes of rowanberries build depth with soft and delicate bitterness. In the end the orange marmalade from the nose is back, as well as thick and sticky floral honey. The sweetness is almost overwhelming in the end.

Comment: A decadent delight! Bordering on too decadent?
