The Speyside 12 YO Reserve Cask Parcel no.6 goes on sale in Norway tomorrow at NOK 995 (13559601).

Nose: Cool and detached at first, then it slowly wakes up to reveal a classic sherried Speyside nose. Raisins and other dried fruits. Somewhat juicy. Mild coffee notes, and some chocolate.

Taste: Full bodied and rather sweet. Certainly lots of sherry notes here. Rather dry in character.

Finish: Medium long finish. The raisins do take center stage. Simple syrup, and a dash of maple syrup. Honey sweetness as well.

Comment: Classic style.
