SMWS 52.47 Juggle lemons on the beach, 11 YO, 56.7%

A highland single malt whisky distilled at the Pulteney Distillery 2013-10-24. Matured in a single 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel, and resulting in 239 bottles when bottled.

Nose: Green and vegetal in an oddly captivating way. With time it turns delightfully pastry-like, reminiscent of a freshly baked Danish dusted with icing sugar.

Taste: Full bodied, creamy and citrus-led. Subtle notes of pencil shavings, toasted oak and chocolate sit in the background, lifted by a small pinch of salt.

Finish: Long. Fresh citrus carries through, finishing on bright notes of lemon and honey cake.

Comment: Fresh citrus with creamy depth.
