Matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel (Cask # 48/2011). Distilled 2011-09-11, and bottled February 2020. Limited to 354 bottles.

Nose: Smoky, dusty, peaty, and fruity. Rich and welcoming. The wood smoke is massive and light at the same time. With time also tropical fruits, vanilla and hints of citrus.

Taste: Rich and full bodied. Feisty and fiery. Assorted citrus fruits and pine cones on fire. Ginger and hints of sweet licorice. A very fine ex-bourbon barrel this.

Finish: Medium long finish. More of the same. It is big, it is bold and it is highly flavorful. It all does get a bit muddled however, in a charming way. I put this down to the age and the high ABV.

Comment: Charmed, I’m sure!
