I am so happy that Midleton has introduced the Redbreast as sort of a core range product. It is expensive, sure, but a fantastic dram.

This batch 1 / 2019 was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-ruby port casks.

Nose: Super smooth. Wondrous, wonderful, delightful. Tropical fruits and creamy vanilla. Hints of leather and exotic spices.

Taste: Rich and full bodied. The tropical fruits are now joined by red berries and hints of rowan berries.

Finish: Long finish. Softly oaky. Dry-ish. Caramel and vanilla, as well as the ever present tropical fruits..

Comment: Truly sublime!
