Oslo Rum & Whisky Festival 2024

Latin American and Scottish vibes in Oslo today. Oslo Rum Festival has been around for s little while. New this year is the addition of rum.

Six stands presenting their fine products. Mainly rum to be fair. Also a fine assortment of cocktails being served.

Three master classes, again covering both rum and whisky.

The festival is split into two time slots, 2 till 5 pm and then 6 till 9 pm.

One highlight of the day was this Diplomatico Vintage 2007. Matured initially for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for one year in ex-Amontillado sherry cask. A really aromatic and complex rum.
