This is an independent bottling from Watt Whisky. A Miltonduff single malt matured for ten years in an ex-bourbon hogshead. Limited to 325 bottles.

Nose: A little shy on first approach. Crème brûlée, milk chocolate and a dusting of icing sugar. With time, tropical fruits and dusty vanilla emerge, adding a little more depth.

Taste: Full bodied and not shy at all on the palate. Big and bold is more like it! Warm and lively, with peppery spices and toasted oak. Honey-glazed ripe apples, served warm, bring a rich and comforting sweetness.

Finish: Medium long. The spices mellow out fairly quickly, leaving behind sweet notes of apple and pear. Almost sticky in character, with the fruitiness lingering gently towards the end.

Comment: Shy nose, bold and sweet palate.
