This is a vatting of 15 to 28 YO ex-bourbon cask matured single pot still whiskey which has had a finish in virgin Irish oak.

Nose: Oh, la la. A perfect symphony of light notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, (muskat), nuts, banana, ripe apples, honey dew melon, and carnation.

Taste: Fiery and full bodied. Lots of pepper spices up front. Oaky dryness. Aggressive tannins drawing their swords, then immediately backing down again. Sugary and fruity sweetness takes over.

Finish: Medium to long finish. The sweet fruits remain. Somewhat dry now. Spearmint, and dry hay in the end.

Comment: A perfect nose, and a near perfect dram.
