Produced at the Lochranza Distillery (previously known as Arran Distillery), and released in 2015. Peated to 20 ppm and matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Limited to 9000 bottles.

Nose: Ripe red apples coated in honey and cold ashes. Pronounced wood smoke dominates, while vanilla and additional orchard fruits emerge with time.

Taste: Full bodied and boldly peaty from the outset. Juicy apples meet ashes and soot in a spicy mix of pepper and chili.

Finish: Medium long. Chewy, gritty and smoky, with those wonderfully “dirty” apples still firmly in charge.

Comment: Smoky apples with gritty charm.
