This Norwegian single malt whisky from Hiernagla is a collaboration with influencer, entrepreneur, and entertainer.

Three different components make up this whisky:

• 2x 112L Hungarian oak casks filled 2021-05-18, then recasked into a single Brown Forman 1st fill ex-bourbon cask on 2022-06-01.

• 1x 200L 1st fill Woodford Reserve ex-bourbon cask 2021-04-14

• Parts of 3x 100L Garrison Brothers 1st fill ex-bourbon casks filled between 2020-02-27 and 2020-03-04, then recasked in a 225L ex-Pineau Des Charentes cask on 2023 -05-11.

The Lotherus Whisky is available to buy in Norway at NOK 840 (20507702).

Nose: Malty and fresh with oaky spice and sweet strawberry notes. Moves toward strawberry milkshake with malt drops and pencil shavings.

Taste: Medium bodied. Malty and fresh again, with a slightly elevated oaky spice. White pepper and ginger, backed by clear vanilla.

Finish: Medium long. Creamy caramel sits atop mild spices and relaxed tropical fruits.

Comment: A straight shooter with a warm heart!
