I imagine there is an endless supply of sauna stories in Finland. Here is story number 2 from Kyrö, the Ryevolution guys “over there”. This story is finished in Apricot brandy casks. The first Sauna Story was finished in Planteray Rum casks (see review).

The Kyrö Sauna Stories No 2 - Apricot Brandy Cask Finish will be available from November 13 in Norway at NOK 1250 (20040001).

Nose: Light pepper and stone fruits open the show, joined by gentle vanilla and classic orchard fruit tones. With time, a pleasant dustiness evokes the charm of an old attic.

Taste: Full bodied, bright and fruity. A fizzy sweetness dances across the palate. Lively, fun and engaging from start to finish.

Finish: Medium long. Sweet and playful with a soft peppery twist and lingering notes of apricot.

Comment: Bright fruit with playful charm.
