This is batch 12 of the Kilkerran Heavily Peated from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. Bottled 2025-04-01. Matured in mainly ex-bourbon casks, but also a small potion of ex-sherry casks. Heavily peated at 45 ppm.

The Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 12 will be available to buy in Norway starting November 13 at NOK 1099 (20041201).

Nose: Rich wood smoke balanced by soft orchard fruits and a creamy undertone. With time, gentle citrus and a faint touch of honey emerge.

Taste: Full bodied and layered. Orchard fruits mingle with soot and warm embers, lifted by a hint of green herbs.

Finish: Long and peppery with a touch of bitterness and oak. The citrus from the nose makes a brief but welcome return.

Comment: Smoky depth.
