This is batch 11 of the Kilkerran Heavily Peated from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. Bottled 2024-09-17. Matured in mainly ex-bourbon casks, but also a small potion of ex-sherry casks. Heavily peated at 45 ppm.

The Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 11 will be available to buy in Norway starting November 13 at NOK 1142 (20041301).

Nose: Rich wood smoke layered with orchard fruits, nuts and malt. Pencil shavings and deep peat smoke.

Taste: Full bodied and boldly smoky. Sooty strawberries and a creamy “smoked milkshake” character create a striking balance of sweetness and smoke.

Finish: Medium to long. The smoky fruit theme continues, joined by a lively note of rowanberries.

Comment: Sweet and playful smokiness.
