Nose: Dried fruits and creamy richness lead the way. Red berries as well. A curious whiff of wellies adds character. Slightly dry yet deeply appealing.

Taste: Full bodied. Green notes dominate at first, cut grass and fresh herbs, before fruitiness and a base of caramel emerge. Mellow spiciness.

Finish: Medium to long. The darker base notes take control: caramel, chocolate, leather and coffee beans.

Comment: Rich fruit with rugged charm.
