Glengoyne Robbie’s Choice, 18 YO, 55.1 %

Distilled 1989-03-07, matured in a single ex-ruby port hogshead (cask #328), and bottled September 2007. Limited to 277 bottles.

Nose: Rich dried fruit and ripe apples. Caramel and vanilla. Refined and very well integrated. With time also cherry pudding.

Taste: Medium body. Dry, complex, concentrated and rich. Dried fruits. Sugary and a bit floral. Earthy, dark chocolate.

Finish: Long finish. Hint of mint. Green-ish. Light caramel, dried fruits and nuts. Even more earthy now - dunnage warehouse even.

Comment: Amazing dram!
