A Glengoyne from independent bottler Hunter Laing. Distilled September 2008, matured in a single ex-sherry hogshead (cask #HL20097), and bottled August 2023. Limited to 231 bottles.

The Glengoyne 2008 14 YO Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing) will be available ion Norway starting November 13 at NOK 1500 (20039801).

Nose: Fruity and light, evoking an early summer morning. Peaches and apricot lead, followed by soft vanilla and caramel with time.

Taste: Full bodied and vibrant. Orchard fruits dominate, lifted by white pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and a refreshing hint of citrus.

Finish: Medium long. More orchard fruits and gentle sweetness, rounded by mild oaky spice.

Comment: Bright fruit with gentle spice.
