Nose: Sweet Christmas cake and honey cake served side by side, with assorted dried fruits on the side, and with a pitcher of both custard and caramel sauce. Even a tiny wooden cup of maple syrup. Very rich and soothing. With time also dust, eucalyptus and menthol.

Taste: Full bodied and then some. Rich, sweet and borderline dry. Caramel, dried fruits, and sugary sweetness. It has a mild oakiness to it.

Finish: Very long finish. More of the same delicious desert servings. We are even treated to rich honey and chocolate with jam in the end.

Comment: Is it Christmas already? A near perfect sherry cask matured Glenfarclas.
