A grand old GlenDronach. The Grandeur Batch 12 was matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled in 2023 and limited to 2940 bottles.

Nose: Super soft and appealing. A whisky that truly caresses the nose. Delicate, beautifully balanced and exceptionally well behaved. Warm caramel, leather, milk chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, unsalted peanuts and pencil shavings mingle with dried fruits of all varieties. With time, hints of orange zest and floral honey emerge.

Taste: Full bodied, super smooth and wonderfully rich. Creamy and enticing, with dried fruits, citrus and mild spices. It teases, tickles and enthralls.

Finish: Long, very long. More dried fruits, deep maltiness and mild spices, joined by delightfully sweet notes of white chocolate, licorice and orange marmalade.

Comment: Elegance, richness and balance in harmony.
