GlenAllachie The Sinteis Series - Chinquapin & Pedro Ximenez, 11 YO, 57.8%

GlenAllachie launched The Sinteis Series earlier this year. Two expressions have been released in the series so far. This whisky ahs been matured in a combination of Cinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) virgin oak and ex-PX sherry. Distilled 2014, and bottled 2025 at cask strength.

The GlenAllachie The Sinteis Series - Chinquapin & Pedro Ximenez will be made available in Norway on November 13 at NOK 1500 (20040801).

Nose: Soft, delicate and creamy with refined notes of leather, cigar box, dried fruits and toasted oak. Honey and dark chocolate emerge gracefully with time.

Taste: Full bodied and gently dry. Dried fruits form the base, lifted by warming spices of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.

Finish: Medium to long. Mildly spicy with a subtle citrus lift and smooth dark chocolate rounding off the close.

Comment: Elegant spice with classic depth.
