A single malt whisky from Danish distillery Fary Lochan. Distilled 2018-11-18, matured in an ex-Pedro Ximénez cask, and bottled 2025-08-14. This whisky was made using Laureate barley.

This whisky is part of a five-bottle set, A Taste of Denmark, bottled for http://Whiskybaren.dk in Denmark. A total of 78 sets were made, priced at 3500 DKK for the full 5 x 50cl set.

Nose: An autumn walk in the woods. Fallen leaves, ripe berries and apples set the tone, followed by dried fruits, cinnamon and toasted oak as it opens up.

Taste: Full bodied and intensely sweet. Red berries dominate in juicy, rich waves, with rowan berries adding a gentle, softening edge.

Finish: Medium long. More berry-driven sweetness, now joined by white pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg for a warm, spiced close.

Comment: Autumn berries with warm spice.
