This is an independet bottling from Blackadder. This Chichibu single malt was distilled in November 2013, matured in a virgin American oak cask (cask #2862), and bottled in February 2018. The cask yielded 237 bottles.

Nose: Amazing for being just 4 years old and 63 % ABV. Well balanced. Toasted oak, hints of cinnamon, light notes of tropical fruit. A bit shy at first, but opens up and caresses the nose more by the minute.

Taste: Rich and full bodied. Quite spicy. Peppery harmonies. Almonds, vanilla and marzipan.

Finish: Medium long finish. Maple syrup and pancakes. White pepper. Vanilla. Light tropical fruit. Creamy and rich all the way.

Comment: Mind blown - as (nearly) always with Chichibu.
