Nose: Soft, reverent spiciness with cinnamon, nutmeg, a possible floral touch of carnation, and cloves. The spices are delicate, composed and deeply fulfilling. A full symphony of dried fruits follows: raisins, dates, figs, prunes and apricots. With time, it moves into luxury confectionery with decadent, indulgent fillings.

Taste: Full bodied and very smooth. The same rich ensemble of dried fruits from the nose carries beautifully onto the palate. Vanilla adds softness, while assorted chocolates bring further depth and elegance.

Finish: Very long. Hints of citrus now join the mix, lifting the ever-present dried fruits. Luxurious all the way through, with darker notes of chocolate and caramel towards the end.

Comment: Decadence served with reverence.
