The Bunnahabhain 1991 28 YO Untold Riches is composed of 28 hogsheads and 3 sherry butts, all distilled between 1987 and 1991. Bottled in 2020 and limited to 6500 bottles.

Nose: Hints of sulphur, but not distractingly so. Then caramel, leather and hints of tobacco. Softly fruity. Strawberries and hints of rowan berries.

Taste: Full bodied and of untold riches. Citrus, orchard fruits, ginger and honey. Hints of salt.

Finish: Long finish. More salty now. Softly green also - herbs, cut grass and tomato plant. Fruity and fresh all the way.

Comment: A dessert Bunnahabhain. Sure, I’ll have a second helping!
