This is a vintage 2015 Bowmore from independent bottler Little Brown Dog (LBD). Distilled 2015-02-23, matured in a single refill ex-bourbon cask, and bottled 2026-05-05. Limited to 272 bottles.

Nose: Smoky, with a soft maritime touch. Warm and rich, with a lovely depth to the smoke. Behind the smoky veil, rich citrus notes emerge in the form of ripe orange pulp and dried orange zest. With time, the orange notes grow more pronounced, mingling with sweet, floral honey.
Taste: Full bodied. Big, peaty, smoky and fruity. Creamy and rich in character, with a slightly dirty edge, in the very best possible way. Sooty slices of freshly cut, sun-warmed orange. Sugar cubes soaked in orange juice and rolled in soot.
Finish: Quite long finish. Remains dark, peaty and wonderfully sooty, with the fresh, juicy sweetness of ripe oranges shining through.
Comment: Dirty smoke meets juicy sunshine.
