A very old distillery exclusive from Arran. Distilled 1995-12-19, matured in a single ex-sherry hogshead (cask #1995/396), and bottled 2024-05-01. Limited to 285 bottles.

Nose: Caramel, raisins and dates take immediate hold. Deep, intense and enveloping. With time, dark chocolate confectionery appears, filled with marzipan drenched in rich sherry.

Taste: Full bodied with dark sweetness and a semi-dry edge. Hints of white pepper sit in the background. Caramel, roasted almonds, dark chocolate and dates dominate, supported by mild oak.

Finish: Very long. Incredibly smooth and delicate with velvety orchard fruits, caramel and vanilla. Green, cooling notes of mint, eucalyptus and menthol close the experience.

Comment: Dark, velvety and endlessly charming.
