Here is an Aberlour A’bunadh release from 2016.

Nose: Light, with some oakiness and mild sherry notes. Not at all the heavy sherry influence I am normally greeted with when pouring a dram of A'bunadh. Mild nuttiness, as well as vanilla and dried fruits.

Taste: Full bodied and quite sweet. The sweetness is sugary and deep. Sherry notes, rich caramel sauce, demerara sugar and white pepper.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Almost fizzy in character now. The spiciness picks up a bit - white pepper and mild chili. Rich caramel sauce, cinnamon and a pinch of ginger. Nutty with a herbal top note towards the end.

Comment: A solid A’bunadh.
