This old Aberlour was bottled by independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in June 1994, matured in a single refill hogshead (cask #DL13520), and bottled in August 2019. The total outturn was 262 bottles.

Nose: Wooden fruit baskets in a dusty old attic, brim full with ripe fruit and red berries. With time I also pick up cinnamon, ginger and pepper. It smells like Christmas!
Taste: Full bodied like Father Christmas! Fiery spiciness up front, and dry in character at first. The Christmas vibe is still very much present with delicate spices and dried fruits.
Finish: Long finish. Christmas spices, creamy liqueur. and bitter juicy oranges. A touch oaky in the end.
