This whisky from Two Brewers Whisky, located in Yukon, Canada, was bottled for Alberta Scotch Society 10th Anniversary.

Distilled 2013-10-13, matured in a single #3 char 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel (cask #169), and bottled 2021-01-14. Limited to 84 bottles from what I can see, so I assume this is just a portion of that cask.

Nose: This is a smoky barbecue feast! The air is thick with meaty and malty sweetness. Picture smoked meat sizzling away, intermingling with the scent of peat smoke and playful hints of pepper. Add grilled pineapple and lemon zest to the mix. As it rests, hints of vanilla emerge, joined by a medley of tropical fruits and the sensation of sun-kissed sand.

Taste: A dynamic display of flavor. It's full-throttle peat. A dance between sweetness and smokiness, as ripe orchard fruits and red berries tango with traces of soot and glowing embers. A sprinkling of salt and pepper adds zest.

Finish: A smoldering exit. The peat and smoke intensify, bringing forward memories of long barbecued meats, generously glazed with a sweet-tangy sauce. As it mellows, notes of Seville oranges make a delightful appearance.

Comment: A smoky delight that leaves a lasting impression.

Score 89/100
