Nose: Orchard fruits lightly dusted with cocoa and a scattering of cool ashes. Sweeter tones of chocolate, vanilla and earthy cinnamon emerge with time, joined by a faint whiff of green herbs.

Taste: Medium bodied. A balanced interplay of spice and fruit—black and white pepper with ash and smoke on one side, ripe orchard fruits on the other.

Finish: Medium to short. Chocolate and ashes linger over gentle fruitiness, fading into soft florals, green herbs and cut grass.

Comment: Ash-kissed fruit with gentle spice.

Score 83/100
