Another entry in Diageo’s Special Releases 2022. The Talisker 11 YO has been matured in ex-bourbon casks.

The Talisker 11 YO (Special Releases 2022) will go on sale in Norway starting next week at NOK 1400 (14979901).

Nose: Sweet and peppery. Honey and creamy vanilla.

Taste: Full bodied. Dry-ish. Lots of black and white pepper. Oaky with some astringency.

Finish: Medium long. Drier still, with fizzy ginger and cinnamon. Not very peaty at all.

Comment: A mild mannered Talisker.
